Step-by-step instructions
Log in to your Google account & search your business on Google Search. (If you do not have a Google Business Profile, Follow the easy steps & Create it now)
Now, Select the "Photos" option under your Google Business Profile.
Click on "Add a cover photo" option. (For any questions about size, aspect ratio or resolution click on Cover Photo & Logo guidelines)
Click on "Select image" & upload the photo. Alternatively you can also "Drag image" in the box.
Now once the cover photo is uploaded, in a similar way, Click on "Add a logo" & upload.
You can now see the "Cover Photo" & "Logo" both are uploaded. Add more photos on your profile by clicking on "Add Photos" option.
Reload the Page, to see the "Logo & Cover Photo" on your Google Business Profile.

How long does it take for changes to appear in my location or Service area?
It generally takes only few minutes for the changes to update & appear. But if the google prompts for re-verification, then in that case the changes will only appear after verification is done. (For more details on verification process check Re-verification of Google Business Profile)
Can I set my service area using the radius around my business?
No, in new updates Google has removed this option. Now you need to specify the specific area, city or postal code that your business serves.
I work from home, Should I show my home address.
No, If you are a Service business you should enter the address for verification purposes only. You will have an option to enter the service areas where in you can specify the areas you serve. The Physical address will not appear on your profile.
